Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 29, 2026
AffordableKeywords ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over your data.
What we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google or via magic link, we receive your email address and (for Google) your basic profile name. Nothing else is requested.
- Keyword queries. Keywords you submit, the country you select, and the resulting difficulty / search-volume data are stored against your account so you can return to them later.
- Usage logs. Standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention. Retained for up to 30 days.
- Payment data. Once paid plans launch, payments will be processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Cookies. Essential cookies for authentication, an `i18nlang` cookie to remember your language, and Google Analytics cookies for aggregate traffic measurement.
How we use it
- Run the service: process keyword queries, deliver results, manage credits.
- Send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts) via our SMTP provider.
- Prevent abuse and detect fraud.
- Improve the product through aggregate, anonymized usage analysis.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for ad targeting on third-party platforms.
Sub-processors
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Vercel — application hosting and CDN
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Stripe — payment processing (when paid plans launch)
- Google — sign-in (OAuth) and Analytics
- RapidAPI / upstream SEO data providers — keyword difficulty and volume data
These processors handle data only to deliver the service to you, and are bound by their own privacy commitments.
Your rights
You can:
- Export your keyword history at any time from the Tool page (CSV export).
- Delete your account. Email us at the address below; we will erase your account, keyword history, and credits within 30 days.
- Opt out of analytics with a browser-level Do Not Track or privacy extension.
EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR (rectification, restriction, portability, objection, complaint to a supervisory authority). We comply with valid requests within 30 days.
California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and to delete. We do not "sell" personal information as defined under the CCPA.
Data retention
- Keyword history follows your plan tier: 7 days (Free) / 30 days (Starter) / 60 days (Pro), after which entries are automatically deleted.
- Account-level data is retained while your account is active and removed within 30 days of account deletion.
- Logs: up to 30 days.
International transfers
Data is stored on infrastructure in the United States and Asia-Pacific regions. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses for cross-border transfers.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We will post material changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
