Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of AffordableKeywords (the "Service"), operated at affordablekeywords.com. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
AffordableKeywords is a pay-as-you-go SEO keyword research tool. You can query keyword difficulty (KD) and search volume in bulk, with results sourced from third-party SEO data APIs.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction.
- You agree to provide a working email address and to keep your account credentials secure.
- One account per person. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Free tier and credits
- New accounts receive 10 free queries.
- Paid credits, when available, are sold in fixed packs (e.g., 50 / 200 queries). Credits do not expire while the account remains active.
- Credits are non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law or where we made an obvious billing error. To request a refund eligible under those exceptions, contact us within 14 days of purchase.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to scrape, mirror, or resell the underlying SEO data.
- Submit content that is illegal, infringing, or designed to harm others (e.g., keyword inputs containing personal data of third parties).
- Use automated means to evade rate limits, or share a single account across multiple users or organizations.
- Probe, attack, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Data accuracy disclaimer
Search volume and keyword difficulty figures come from upstream SEO data providers. The data is provided "as is" and may be approximate, delayed, regional, or incomplete. Do not rely on these figures for legally or financially material decisions without independent verification.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. The Service may be paused for maintenance, upstream API outages, or other reasons. Free credits are not pro-rated for downtime.
7. Intellectual property
- All site content, code, and branding are owned by AffordableKeywords or its licensors.
- You retain ownership of the keyword lists you submit. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to deliver the Service to you.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms us or other users.
Upon termination, your access ends and your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Outstanding credit balances are not refunded if termination is for breach.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD 50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA.
These limits do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the competent courts of Ontario, Canada. Nothing here strips you of consumer-protection rights mandated by your local law.
